Uplifting History for Juneteenth 2026

AEO celebrated Juneteenth on June 16, 2026 with an event on the Uptown campus featuring the Amistad Research Center.

Thank you to the faculty, staff, and students who joined us, despite the rain, for Juneteenth bingo, crawfish, and snoballs. We also thank our presenting partner, the Amistad Research Center, and our co-host, the ALAAMEA Affinity Network, for helping make the celebration possible.
