Creating Community Teach-In

The fully virtual, university-wide Creating Community Teach-In brings together scholars, community leaders, and members of the Tulane community for a day of reflection, dialogue, and connection. Through keynotes, conversations, and panels, we explore how storytelling, memory, and lived experience shape our understanding of community across generations, disciplines, and relationships to place. All are welcome to attend any portion of the program or participate in the full day. All sessions are fully virtual and designed to be accessible.

Classroom Integration Opportunity

The Teach-In offers a strong opportunity for classroom integration. Faculty may wish to encourage student participation through extra credit or incorporate sessions into course discussions, as the program engages themes relevant across disciplines, including history, environmental studies, public health, education, and the social sciences.
